Description

Basic Rider Course 1 (Manitowoc Location): Intro session on October 16 at 5–6 PM, followed by morning classes on October 18 & 19, 2025 (Saturday and Sunday) from 7 AM to 12 PM.

The Thursday classroom session will be held at Harbor Town Harley-Davidson, located at 2433 Hecker Road, Manitowoc, WI 54220.

The riding sessions on Saturday and Sunday will be conducted in the employee parking lot at Parker-Hannifin Corporation, 1440 N 24th Street, Manitowoc, WI 54220.

  • For Thursday’s classroom session, please remember to bring your valid driver’s license along with your completed Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) online e-Course certificate.
  • During the classroom session, you’ll be asked to complete an emergency contact form and sign an indemnification waiver. Make sure to fill out, sign, and date the indemnification waiver in both required sections.
  • To participate in the riding sessions on Saturday and Sunday, make sure you’re wearing the required gear: a) a helmet, b) eye protection, c) a long-sleeved shirt, sweatshirt, or jacket without any rips or holes, d) full-fingered gloves, e) long pants in good condition (no rips or tears), and f) sturdy, over-the-ankle footwear.

To access your FREE MSF online e-Course (a $39.99 value), be sure to complete the MSF registration form. You’ll find the link to the MSF registration form on the ‘Thank You for Your Payment’ page.

MSF will email you access to the FREE online e-Course after your payment has been processed and you’ve completed the MSF registration form.

Note: If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the waiver on your behalf 1) completed and signed at Harbor Town Harley-Davidson with an employee present before class begins, 2) with the instructor during Thursday’s classroom session or on Saturday before your first riding session; if not, 3) you can have it notarized at any location that offers public notary services.
